Diet is essential for the health and wellbeing of your Savannah. The Savannah’s diet shall include only high-quality ingredients containing Protein, Taurine and some cereals.

It is ok to feed your Savannah cat with super-premium or holistic ready-made cat food.

Stage 1: At one to four months of age, we recommend softened Royal Canin Babycat 34 or BABYCAT instinctive mousse.

To enhance the growth, use Recovery Feline / Canine by Royal Canin. Special food for cats aged over 4 months, Digestive Comfort 38, provides optimum comfort digestion. Fecal volume is reduced by 35% within 14 days.

Do not forget GIMPET positive reinforcement treats containing vitamins and taurine for cats, fortified "CAT-MILK" with taurine for cats, vitamins Baby Tabs for kittens with colostrum, taurine and L-carnitine, vitamin flakes with taurine for cats or kittens.

Research shows that feeding a Savannah with raw meat extends the life span by 5 to 10 years. You can use chicken, beef, rabbit and even fish. Make sure that the food is balanced. Besides meat, it shall contain vitamins, minerals, probiotics and fatty acids as well.

In our Savannah cattery, we feed all Savannahs with meat. After grinding meat with small bones, cartilages, internal organs (liver, stomach, etc.) we add vitamins, minerals and probiotics. For kittens we use Kittybloom VM900 + 3, which contains 15 vitamins, 10 minerals, taurine, Probios probiotics, Bac-Pak and Primal-Cal calcium.

Never forget about water. It must always be available to your pet, while the food remains should be removed.
